Squirrel Swirl

What is a swirl?

The Squirrel Swirl is a community swap. We invite our neighbors every first Sunday of the month to give decluttered items, take new finds donated by neighbors, or both!

Who is it for?

Everyone! Swirls are free and open to the public.

Why is it so squirrel-y?

The swirls started as a way to help our clients declutter by creating urgency with a deadline, and certainty about what to do with all that stuff. The first one in July 2025 was so successful that we decided to hold them monthly, as a way to give back to the community we love.

If you’d like to give back too, come volunteer!

How to help?

We always need help with set up, break down, and donation intake at the booth. DM us on instagram @squirrelhomemaking or email helpmenest@squirrelhomemaking.com with the subject line ‘volunteer’

What (and what not) to bring?

All items must be CLEAN and in 100% working condition! We aren’t able to properly handle trash and recycling at the event; any item determined to be unacceptable by our volunteers will be returned to you.
